Towline / AGV
These material handling systems offer advantages over traditional methods, including increased efficiency, reduced labor costs, improved safety, and enhanced productivity. These systems can also be integrated with other automated processes, such as robotics and WMS, to create a fully automated, end-to-end material handling solution.
Towline
Towline systems are an excellent solution for moving heavy loads and large quantities of material over long distances within a facility. With the ability to follow specific routes and paths, these systems provide reliable, consistent transport while being flexible and adaptable in response to changing production requirements.
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
AGVs offer a reliable, flexible, and cost-effective solution for moving materials and products to different locations; without human intervention. These self-propelled vehicles utilize advanced navigation systems, such as laser guidance or magnetic tape, to follow predetermined paths or navigate autonomously within a facility.
Productivity
Move large quantities of material over long distances, reducing the time and labor required for material transport and allowing for greater production capacity.
Customizable
They can be configured to follow specific routes or paths, allowing for greater flexibility in material transport and adaptability to changing production requirements.
Safety
They can be designed with safety features, like sensors and emergency stop buttons, to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
We implemented a towline system that connects several warehouses within the same complex. The system consists of 9km of tow-chain and interconnected circuits. Cart configuration permitted items to automatically reach their final destination, increasing storage, improving quality control, and streamlining shipments. The towline system also includes advanced communication systems producing real-time tracking and monitoring of materials throughout the complex.
